manage your stress

It may seem that there’s nothing you can do about your stress level. Managing stress is all about taking charge which are taking charge of your thoughts, your emotions, your schedule, your environment, and the way you deal with problems. Being students, there are a lot of things that need to take care of and this thing cannot be avoided from us. The ultimate goal is a balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, fun, plus the resilience to hold up under pressure and meet challenges head on.

There are many healthy ways to manage and cope with stress, but they all require change. Since everyone has a unique response to stress, there is no “one size fits all” solution to managing it. No single method works for everyone or in every situation. So focus on what makes you feel calm and in control.

STRESS MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES

1: Avoid unnecessary stress

•Avoid people who stress you out
•Take control of your environment
•Avoid hot-button topics

2: Alter the situation

•Express your feelings instead of bottling them up.
•Be willing to compromise.
•Manage your time better.

3: Accept the things you can’t change

•Don’t try to control the uncontrollable.
•Look for the upside.
•Share your feelings. (Talk to a trusted friend or make an appointment with a therapist.)
•Learn to forgive.

So make sure that we can handle our stress as well as possible. Don’t make it abandon our mind. Live your life in a healthy and a good way.
